About This Project

Our many years of experience in the industry has meant that we have built an excellent reputation in the area, opening Neal Landscapes up to a wealth of opportunities. One that we are particularly proud of is our ongoing relationship with The Parks Trust who have awarded us several contracts to complete grounds maintenance in Milton Keynes.

Over the past few weeks, our team have been super busy on a project for The Parks Trust, which has involved tree thinning across a large landscape. We had to be extremely careful working on this land and pay extra attention as ash dieback had, unfortunately, spread across many of the ash trees. Ash dieback is a disease found only in ash trees, which eventually causes the leaves to be lost and the crown to begin dying from the roots. The most recent research by the Woodland Trust shows that ash dieback is responsible for the death of up to 80% of all ash trees in the country, meaning that detecting the disease early is vital.

Once our team arrived on site, they pruned any trees that were able to be saved and then removed any that were too diseased to bring back to full health. They used specialist equipment from a range of leading manufacturers including Timberwolf, Stihl and Husqvarna, which helped them to complete the job quickly and without damaging any of the surrounding landscape. All of the diseased trees were successfully removed and disposed of correctly, and we will be returning to the site to maintain the remaining trees and ensure that they are in full health.

Client Testimonial

“The whole team at Neal Landscapes are always a pleasure to work with, and you can always rely on them to do a fantastic job. They work ever so hard to make sure that the job is completed to the timescale that they promised and the quality of the work is superb. It was a shame to see so many of the beautiful ash trees go, but we know it was the right thing to do and they couldn’t have been in more capable hands!”
