About This Project
Although most of our projects are on the commercial premises of businesses, we also provide our services to a wealth of other industries, including educational campuses. A great example of this is the moss sweeping job we completed at Shuttleworth College in Bedfordshire.
Moss sweeping is not designed to remove 100% of the moss on paving, but it does make a significant difference on not only the appearance of sites but also safety. Especially during the colder months, the regular rainfall can cause the moss to become incredibly slippery, even more so if the water is to freeze. This causes a considerable hazard, particularly on the grounds that are used to play sports, which is why it was important for us to remove as much moss as possible before the students returned full time.
As you can see from the photos below, our team were able to remove almost all of the moss, creating a far safer environment for students.
