About this project
After receiving a phone call from a client in Stacey Bushes, Milton Keynes, we were tasked with essential tree surgery work on some Willow trees. Due to finding lots of signs that the trees were dying, the client was eager to assist the professional opinion of Neal Landscapes.
On the first day of the job, the team conducted a tree survey to find out the overall state the trees were in. A tree survey is essential in order to get an in-depth study of the condition of the tree. It was concluded that the tree was indeed showing signs of early death and was overgrown.
We determined that the correct service to follow through with was pollarding. To rejuvenate the willow trees, we cut off the tree stems, removed any spindly branches and thinned out the tree, which initiates regrowth to bring the tree back to life.
Due to Willow trees being known to have weaker wood, we initiated relevant safety procedures for the qualified tree surgeons to follow. It was instructed that they maintained a frequent cutting cycle of the chainsaws to reduce the likeliness of the wood breaking off, with the team leaders carrying out a regular safety check.
What our client had to say
A massive thank you to the Neal Landscapes team who have rejuvenated the willow trees on our property. When they were showing signs of death, we needed to bring in a team who would act on it quickly, and Neal Landscapes did the job!
